Year 10 students enjoyed attending the Access VFX festival at Kings Hall last week. Access VFX is a cross-company initiative to promote diversity and inclusion in the visual fx industry. Students are pictured with Daniel Waterman, co-founder of Carse and Waterman productions. Carse and Waterman productions are a Stoke-on-Trent based studio who work on a huge number of projects including music, tv and film productions. Students got an insight into life in the visual effects industry within a variety of roles, with some interesting insights into some successful Hollywood films such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic Park.
