A hardworking and conscientious student from Ormiston Horizon Academy has achieved a long time dream by achieving a place at Cambridge University.

Liana Snape, who will be studying History at Cambridge from October 2020, began her journey towards success when she obtained a two year £70,000 scholarship to Oundle College, a private school in Northamptonshire. The scholarship was offered to y11 students within the Ormiston Academies Trust , with Liana being one of only two students to achieve the award in 2018.

The staff and students at Ormiston Horizon Academy are extremely proud of Liana and her incredible achievement and wish her every success for the future.
