Posted on November 3, 2017

Students from Miss Foster’s Art master class enjoyed a trip to Staffordshire University this week at the Creative Arts and Engineering Department and the China Halls at Spode. They participated in several activities including the wave maker ‘light and sound’ experimentation, using materials and structures collaboratively, problem solving, getting creative with clay and watching the final firing event with artist Keith Harrison. Students were all awarded with a certificate of participation in the ‘Knowledge is Power’ 6 towns project and thanked by the Mayor of Stoke on Trent for their commitment to the British Ceramics Biennial.
