Could ‘MK-HD’ be the next big thing?

Signal 1 are searching for a rising star with Newcastle-under-Lyme College’s £5.5 million Performing Arts Centre.
The OHA Music Department is proud to announce that ‘MK-HD’ have achieved an amazing accolade in reaching the Signal Star Search final!

‘MKHD’ – otherwise known as as Dina Papafotopoulou/Harry Porter-Nash/Kane Swindell and Marius Allsop are amongst the selected five finalists, plus wildcard who have been selected to contest the finale event on 16th February.

A special mention also goes out to our very own Y8, ‘Lucy Johnson’ who was selected with a Wildcard opportunity for a sixth spot but narrowly missed out in reaching the final – amazing vocals!

THE PRIZES
Winners’ Prize –
• £500 cash
• Professional recording session or show reel produced by NULC
• 12-months’ access to the state-of-the-art facilities at the new Performing Arts Centre*
• A winner’s interview hosted at Signal 1.co.uk
• Winning performance showcased to the press, on nulc.ac.uk & other social media channels
The Winners’ School will also WIN –
• 12-months’ access to the state-of-the-art facilities at the new Performing Arts Centre*
Runner Up Prize –
• Professional recording session or show reel produced by NULC
